Eight attorneys of Venable LLP law firm are members of major organization of real estate attorneys ?The college is, first and foremost, a great group of people,? said Horowitz. ?I feel especially honored that the membership has chosen me as its president-elect. Horowitz currently serves as vice president of the college and as member of its Board of Governors. Venable has eight members in the college, which has a national membership of about 900 real estate attorneys. In addition to Horowitz, the other Venable members are David Belcher, Robert Gottlieb, Jan Guben, Russell Reno, Kevin Shepherd (member of Board of Governors), Stefan Tucker, and James Wright. Shepherd recently became chair-elect of the American Bar Association?s Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section. Venable managing partner James L.
